The Clay Center Carnegie Library has an opening for a motivated, knowledgeable person seeking director’s position. Clay Center is a well-established town with approximately 4600 people.  The library serves the surrounding county and is a member of North Central Kansas Libraries System.

Comprehensive duties include but are not limited to:  library programming, fiscal responsibilities, personnel and facilities management, public relations, and planning for the future.

Preschool Story Time

Join us on Thursday mornings at 10:30 for story time.  Books, activities, and a craft are lead by children’s librarian Pixie Knepper featuring a different theme each week for ages 3 and up. This event usually lasts 40 minutes.

Anna Knepper leads the younger children with songs, stories, and activities.
